Meet Dawn Cole

Dawn Cole is the combined pen name of Ashley D. Farmer and Brandy C. Canady.

Ashley is an Austin-based historian and published non-fiction author who writes about Black women’s history and moonlights as her French bulldog’s public relations manager. Between vacations, Brandy works as a transactions attorney in Chicago and hosts March Madness-style romance novel tournaments for her friends.

Together, they write about commitment and self-discovery in diverse, love-centered stories with a touch of wanderlust fulfillment.
